Now Hiring: LTL & Line Haul Dispatcher

Location: Mississauga, ON (Bramalea Rd & Derry Rd)
Salary: $60,000 annually
Shift: Monday to Friday | 12:00 PM start
Start Date: Immediate
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the transportation industry that is seeking an experienced LTL & Line Haul Dispatcher to join their operations team. This is a critical, fast-paced role responsible for coordinating city and line haul drivers while ensuring service commitments and operational efficiency are met.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily communication with a fleet of approximately 40–50 city and line haul drivers via phone and handheld devices
• Dispatch and assign loads efficiently to maximize productivity, utilization, and load factor
• Communicate clear load instructions and ensure execution aligns with operational requirements
• Monitor and resolve service issues in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and communicate with maintenance teams as required
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and general administrative support
• Identify operational issues, determine root causes, develop corrective actions, and implement solutions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation dispatch (LTL and/or line haul preferred)
• Strong computer skills with high accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Results-driven mindset with a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Clean criminal background check required
