Senior Control Systems and Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and Control Systems Engineer to lead the development, integration, and optimisation of control and electrical systems for our industrial energy solutions. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who is passionate about clean technologies and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical and control systems for sustainable energy technologies.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI/SCADA systems to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system documentation.
• Work closely with mechanical and process engineers to deliver integrated, high-performance systems.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and ongoing optimisation of electrical and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.

Skills & Experience

• PLC Programming / Development (Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation)
• SCADA / HMI programming including industrial communications protocols such as Modbus
• Computer skills including coding experience (Python) and cloud database (influx db) is desirable
• Gas combustion / Pyrolysis
