One of ProFound People’s good clients, an established tech organisation, is looking for an experienced Signal Processing Engineer with strong skills across AI/ML, software engineering, and acoustics.
  
This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects with real-world applications.
  
AI/ML Signal Processing Engineer Responsibilities
  

• Designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI/ML models (using PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Working with multi-domain datasets (text, audio, image, video) to ensure high-quality, clean training data.
• Applying signal processing techniques for digital signals, audio, and sensor-based systems.
• Building robust software solutions in C++ and Python across Windows/Linux environments.
• Collaborating closely with technical teams and stakeholders, contributing to system design, integration, and optimisation.
• Taking technical ownership of solutions and ensuring high-quality delivery.

  
AI/ML Signal Processing Engineer Requirements
  

• Proven experience in machine learning/AI model development (supervised, self-supervised, or reinforcement learning).
• Strong background in digital signal processing (audio, acoustic, or sensor-based systems).
• Skilled in Python and C++ development
• NV1 security clearance eligible (Australian citizenship required).
