The Role
  

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for businesses, trusts and partnerships, including monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting
• Work across cloud-based accounting platforms including Xero, MYOB and similar systems
• Assist with tax planning and business advisory engagements, with opportunities to attend face-to-face client meetings alongside senior team members
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, including liaising with the ATO to support client outcomes
• Work collaboratively within a supportive, high-performing team

  
Skills & Experience
  

• 2+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
• Experience working with business and trust clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in learning, development and continuous improvement
• Current and ongoing working rights in Australia, with the ability to work in Brisbane
