About this Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Intern to join our HR Asia and Artificial Intelligence teams.
Reporting to the General Manager – Human Resources Asia, you will help us research, pilot, and implement AI tools that streamline our recruitment, employee engagement, and data analytics processes.
This is a full-time position for 6 to 12 months based in our Singapore office.
Key Responsibilities - AI Implementation: Assist in the rollout of AI-driven recruitment tools (e.g., automated screening, chatbot integration, and candidate sourcing).
- Process Optimization: Identify manual HR workflows that can be automated using LLMs (like ChatGPT or Claude) or specialized HRIS tools.
- Data Analysis: Use AI to analyze employee feedback, sentiment surveys, and turnover data to provide actionable insights.
- Policy Research: Help draft ethical guidelines and "Acceptable Use" policies for AI within the workplace.
- Tech Support: Act as a first point of contact for employees learning to navigate new HR software and AI interfaces.
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in maritime preferred.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, I/O Psychology, or a related field.
- A strong interest in AI/ML trends. Familiarity with prompt engineering or data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is a major plus.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A "builder" mindset—you see a boring task and immediately think, "How can I automate this?"
