We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, ensuring that they are restored to full functionality. The technician will work with customers to provide fast, efficient, and high-quality repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues with various cell phones and mobile devices, including cracked screens, battery replacements, software malfunctions, charging port issues, and water damage.
- Perform hardware and software diagnostics to accurately identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Replace faulty parts, such as screens, batteries, cameras, buttons, and more, using specialized tools and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools and mobile devices.
- Provide customers with accurate information about repair costs, timelines, and warranty details.
- Test devices after repairs to ensure full functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair processes and answer questions.
- Maintain detailed repair records, including parts used and time spent on each repair.
- Stay up to date with the latest mobile technology trends, tools, and repair techniques.
- Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in mobile device repair, particularly smartphones (iPhone, Android, etc.).
- Familiarity with a wide range of mobile devices and operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment efficiently.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in mobile repair (e.g., from industry organizations) are a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service or a technical repair environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform manual labor.
- Ability to lift and carry up to [X] pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and often physically demanding environment.
