HVAC Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior HVAC Commissioning Engineer with strong technical expertise in commissioning energy efficiency projects. The ideal candidate must have commissioning, building automation, or related engineering experience with building systems. 

Qualifications Education & Experience

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree (or equivalent military experience) in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
• Commissioning (new construction and/or retrofit projects), or
• Building Automation System (BAS) engineering
• Proven experience analyzing trended field data and/or performing statistical analysis

Strong troubleshooting capabilities across:

• HVAC systems
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing systems
• Working knowledge of building automation and controls systems
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in:
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Additional preferred skills:

• Bluebeam
• Visio

Certifications

• ANSI-accredited commissioning certification through organizations such as ASHRAE, Building Commissioning Association (BCA), or AABC Commissioning Group (ACG),
  or a strong willingness to obtain certification.
