ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will lead the delivery of NNZ's strategy, performance and long-term sustainability. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of NNZ's strategic priorities and future direction.
- Growing commercial revenue across partnerships, broadcast and digital.
- Supporting both elite performance outcomes and a thriving community game.
- Rebuilding organisational culture, trust and alignment across the netball community.
- Strengthening relationships across the netball system and key stakeholders.
- Acting as the public face and trusted ambassador of the sport.
- Providing visible, values-led leadership across both community and high-performance.
ABOUT YOU: We are looking for an experienced senior leader with the ability to lead complex organisations, deliver strategy, lead people and drive commercial outcomes.
You will bring: - Proven CEO or senior executive leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth and financial sustainability.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and a visible, people-first leadership style.
- Experience leading organisational transformation and cultural change.
- An understanding of the New Zealand sporting landscape (or similar membership-based environments).
- A commitment to values-led leadership, including alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
A background working in sport, events, entertainment or member-based organisations is advantageous, but not essential.
