Production Planner
About the Role
Are you a supply chain wizard who loves data, systems, and keeping things running like clockwork? We're looking for a sharp, proactive Production Planner to serve as the operational backbone of our brewery.
In this role, you'll turn sales forecasts into actionable production schedules and secure the top-tier raw materials and packaging needed to craft our products. Sitting right at the intersection of Production, Sales, Warehouse, and Finance, you'll be the air-traffic controller keeping inventory balanced, supply chains seamless, and the beer flowing!
What You'll Do
- Master the Master Plan: Build and fine-tune short- and long-term production schedules based on demand forecasts, tank capacity, and customer needs across both Brewing and Packaging.
- Fuel the Brewhouse: Calculate and purchase all raw materials (hops, malt, yeast, fruit, specialty flavors) and packaging assets (cans, lids, cartons, kegs) to ensure we never miss a beat.
- Keep Supply Lines Moving: Manage POs, track vendor lead times, negotiate pricing, and stay ahead of supply chain bottlenecks before they impact production.
- Optimize Inventory: Keep stock levels lean, accurate, and aligned with upcoming runs using our ERP system to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
- Drive Process & ERP Power: Leverage data, track KPIs, and champion continuous improvement to make our planning tools smarter and more efficient.
What You Bring - The Experience: 3+ years in production planning, procurement, materials management, or supply chain—bonus points if it's in food, beverage, brewing or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Data & Systems Savvy: Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas) and ERP/MRP experience (Odoo experience is a huge plus!).
- Problem-Solving Power: Strong analytical chops, ultra-organized, and obsessed with the details that keep a fast-paced facility moving.
- Great Communication: Ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams, manage multiple priorities on the fly, and take true ownership of results.
Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this role is an annual salary of $60,000 - $70,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance.
Job Vacancy Status This role is currently vacant, and the organization is accepting applications with the intention to hire as soon as possible.

Use Of Artificial Intelligence - By Recruiters & Hiring Managers At The Talent Company, people are at the centre of our recruitment process. While we may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools for limited administrative purposes (such as writing creative outreach messages, summarizing interview notes or transcribing reference checks) AI is never the decision maker. Resumes and candidate information are personally reviewed by our recruiters, and all hiring decisions are made by people who bring judgment, care, and expertise to each match. If a client's recruitment process involves a greater degree of AI use during their own interviews or assessments, we will communicate that to short-listed candidates so they are aware in advance. Our commitment is to use technology responsibly, while ensuring fairness, transparency, and respect at every stage of the process.
Use Of Artificial Intelligence - By Candidates We recognize that candidates may choose to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support their job search, for example to refine writing style or gather research. While this can be appropriate, the information you provide in your resume, screening questions, and interviews must always be truthful and accurately reflect your own experience, knowledge, and competencies. AI should never be used to create or exaggerate credentials. Our goal is to understand the real you - your skills, your story, and your potential - so that we can make the best possible match between you and the organizations we serve.
Accommodation & Inclusivity At The Talent Company, we recognize the value of different perspectives and experiences in prompting innovation, sparking creativity, and solving problems.
