Our client is currently seeking a skilled Farm Operations Manager to join their team on a large-scale irrigated and dryland cotton property located near Goondiwindi.

This permanent full-time position will involve assisting the Regional Farm Manager with the daily operational management of the property. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term career growth within a progressive farming business.

Key Duties:

• Assist in the daily management and coordination of farm operations
• Lead and oversee farm staff and contractor activities
• Operate, maintain and service modern broadacre and irrigated farming machinery
• Support the planning and execution of farming programmes for both irrigated and dryland cotton
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards across the farm

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive experience in irrigated and dryland broadacre farming operations
• Previous leadership experience managing staff in an agricultural setting
• High level of organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Sound mechanical aptitude for machinery operation and maintenance
• Current Driver’s Licence is essential
• Basic computer skills and an interest in agricultural technologies will be viewed favourably
