We are seeking a capable and practical Station All-Rounder / Caretaker / Feedlot Hand to take on a key role at our client's property near Emerald, Queensland. This position suits someone with solid machinery experience, a good understanding of cattle, and the ability to step into a caretaker-style role.

The Role

• Driving a loader and tractor to mix and deliver feed in a new mixer wagon.
• Walking pens daily, checking cattle health, cleaning troughs and general maintenance.
• Assisting with commodity handling, feed programs, and work around the silos. 
• General farm and station maintenance including spraying weeds from a buggy, checking waters, bores, and fencing.
• Helping with shed upkeep, mowing, and whipper snipping
• No mustering, inductions, or hospital work required

Work Conditions

• Comfortable 2-bedroom house provided with electricity.
• Work fuel supplied
• Negotiable on pets
• Potential role for a partner (gardening, light work, cooking etc). 

What We're Looking For

• Strong machinery operating background (tractor, loader, feeder)
• Mechanical aptitude and practical skills
• Basic cattle husbandry knowledge
• Reliable references 
• Must have a driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Pay
Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
