Due to growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking for a Design Manager who can work on complex projects at different phases and assist in mentoring junior team members.
Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
Design management and coordination
Client coordination and liaison
Role requires working across a number of projects and mentoring.
Develop scopes for consultants based on the Project Brief and Contract Requirements.
Develop and manage the Design Program
Implement and manage the Safety in Design process.
Statutory Authority liaison
To be considered for the role of Design Manager you will require:
Relevant building and tertiary qualifications.
To have worked as an architect or engineer for a minimum of 3 years (post-graduation) followed by a minimum of 5 years with a building contractor in a Design Manager, Project Engineer or Project Manager role; or alternatively has worked in the construction industry for a minimum 5+ years with exposure to design management.
Significant site exposure.
Experience across a range of project types (commercial, education, health, correctional and residential) and project values; and
Significant experience on projects in excess of $60m.
