The opportunity:
As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in the ongoing development, execution and optimisation of the member lifecycle strategy where you will take ownership of the end-to-end digital lifecycle program. You will be the key SME for BankVic’s marketing automation platform (Marketo), you will be responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the platform and management of eDM creation.
Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, you will work closely with them to develop and execute marketing strategies through digital channels. You will use data driven strategies to develop and execute marketing programs that increase engagement, brand awareness, retention, and cross-selling products.
Other responsibilities:
- Partner with internal and external teams to develop and execute personalized eDM engagement programs that leverage paid, organic, and partner channels.
- Build and execution of operational/service automated eDMS to improve member experience.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and teams to ensure successful delivery and optimisation of 1:1 communication.
- Develop 1:1 personalised strategies to improve customer experience across a range of online and offline channels.
- Monitor competitor marketing activity and seek out new opportunities.
- Manage tracking and reporting on eDM marketing activity results.
- Manage key partner relationships where possible.
Who we are looking for: You have designed and managed email marketing campaigns and executed customer lifecycle activities including direct and content marketing, 1:1 automated event and trigger-based programs. Your experience developing lifecycle programs and comfortable with segmentation, automation strategy, marketing using digital channels. You take pride in your project management skills and are familiar with coordinating multiple campaign activities and projects.
This role is perfect for someone with 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a similar marketing role and has an understanding retail banking marketing in Australia.
- Degree qualified in business or marketing.
- Strong understanding of Marketing Automation Platforms or CRM (Marketo preferred) with 2+ years’ experience working day-to-day within a platform.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
