About the role
We are seeking a Manager, People Operations to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of our core People & Culture operational services. This role is responsible for ensuring our people processes, systems and services are efficient, compliant and deliver a consistent, high‑quality employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, you will lead and develop a small People Operations team and work closely with leaders across the business to deliver practical, high‑quality P&C services and embed key initiatives into business‑as‑usual operations.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, from recruitment through to offboarding
- Operational HR service delivery, including administration, employee support, and providing advice to managers and employees
- Coordination between People Operations and payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance and a consistent employee experience
- HR systems, data integrity and reporting capability
- Monitoring People Operations performance through key metrics and insights
- Continuous improvement of processes, systems and employee experience
- A small team delivering high‑quality People Operations services
You will also play a key role in embedding People & Culture initiatives and organisational change into business‑as‑usual operations, ensuring sustainable outcomes for the organisation.
What you will have - Demonstrated experience in a People & Culture / HR operations leadership role
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance
- Experience managing HR systems and driving process improvement, with knowledge of JobAdder and Humanforce highly desirable
- Ability to lead, coach and develop team members
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working in a regulated or complex environment (desirable)
- A strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
