The opportunity:
As a Broker Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our broker channel, by overseeing the progress of broker submitted home loan applications from submission through to settlement.
You will proactively monitor application pipelines to ensure timely follow‑up and working closely with BankVic’s Brokers to keep applications on track. You’ll coordinate with internal teams to resolve delays, manage outstanding requirements and support a smooth and efficient experience for both brokers and members.
Working alongside BankVic’s Business Development Managers, Brokers and internal teams, you will help maintain application momentum, resolve challenges efficiently and act as a trusted point of contact for broker support.
Responsibilities:
- Support Broker partners through the BankVic Broker accreditation process, ensuring requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with onboarding Broker introduced members and help build strong engagement at key stages of their journey.
- Provide clear, consistent and proactive communication to Brokers and internal stakeholders on application status, requirements and next steps.
- Manage Home Guarantee Scheme place reservations for Broker submitted applications.
- Provide support to Member Care and Retention functions during periods of absence while managing the wider team inbox, ensuring timely, professional responses and consistent service standards.
Who we are looking for: - 2+ years’ banking/financial services experience with strong residential lending expertise.
- Understanding of the broker channel/network is preferred.
- RG146 Tier 2 certified (or willing to obtain) with solid regulatory knowledge.
- Strong sales mindset with a genuine customer/member‑first focus.
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship‑building skills.
- Thrives in fast‑paced environments, resilient with difficult customers and complex scenarios.
- Results‑driven, detail‑focused and accountable.
- A fast learner with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Collaborative team player with high integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools and loan origination systems.
