As a Special Needs teacher, you will be teaching 10 male students, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. You'll collaborate closely with a dedicated and experienced classroom support person who has an in-depth understanding of the students. Together, you will create a nurturing and structured learning environment, utilising strategies that promote both academic and personal growth. Your role will focus on fostering positive relationships, encouraging participation, and helping each student reach their potential through differentiated instruction and hands-on learning opportunities.
This position is full-time for Term 1, 2025.

What I need to succeed! To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess and/or demonstrate:
- TRBNT registration and ochre card (or ability to obtain one)
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in education
- Ability to plan, prepare and deliver teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of students; which are consistent with relevant curriculum policies, work programs and education trends.
- Knowledge of and the ability to implement effective and inclusive teaching and learning processes, including the use of learning technology and assessment, to establish a challenging learning environment in which students are encouraged to work towards attainment of their potential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students through appropriate interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and apply appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to establishing and maintaining a supportive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with school staff, parents and members of the local school community in order to establish and develop productive partnerships, in an intercultural environment to achieve optimal educational outcomes.
