The Executive General Manager - People and Culture is a key member of the leadership team and a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is accountable for setting and executing the people strategy and leading all aspects of human resources, organisational development, culture, safety and wellbeing across Spirit of Tasmania. You will lead with a “people‑first” approach, drive workforce planning and organisational design, guide industrial and employee relations, and embed high-performance, inclusive and values-aligned practices.
Based in Tasmania, the Executive General Manager - People and Culture will work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive initiatives that enhance engagement, capability, and leadership effectiveness while ensuring integration of safety, risk and compliance into all people practices.
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior leader, with a record of delivering strategic people initiatives and driving organisational change. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to develop and support high-performing teams through periods of transformation and complexity. A strong commitment to accountability, continuous improvement, workforce wellbeing and community is also critical for the success of this role.
