An exciting opportunity now exists for an Executive Manager People and Culture to provide strategic and operational expertise across People and Culture, WHS, Learning and Development, and workforce functions for Multicap Tasmania.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Manager People and Culture will develop and implement strategies and frameworks that strengthen capability that attracts, develops, and retains a skilled and engaged workforce. With offices in Burnie, Devonport, Launceston and Hobart, ideally the role will be based in Launceston. Leading a small, state-wide team, the role will be instrumental in supporting leaders to enhance the employee experience and embed a positive, results-based, values driven culture and robust safeguarding practices. As a member of the Executive Team, the role also contributes to strategic planning, governance, and sector engagement, ensuring that people and culture priorities align with organisational growth, client outcomes, and compliance requirements.
The successful applicant will have senior leadership experience in People and Culture including workforce strategy, employee relations, and organisational design and change. Proven success in cultural development, workforce planning and leadership development is essential, and experience leading WHS compliance and risk management frameworks would be highly valued. Highly developed communication and relationship building abilities, a collaborative approach and experience driving continuous improvement in systems and processes is also required.
