The Company
Our client produces and markets some of the most well-known and respected animal health brands in their market segments, which are predominantly in the poultry and ruminant sectors. With a 50-year history, the company has demonstrated a commitment to science-based solutions and the propensity to make strategic acquisitions to expand its product line.

The Role
The Technical Manager ANZ will manage the regulatory consultants and drive the registration process of the company's products. This position shall also manage the commercial and quality assurance activities in ANZ. This role will work closely with Key Account Managers to generate interest and develop and maintain relationships with key customers and influencers in the region.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director Australia & NZ, the position will be responsible for:-

• Taking full responsibility for the technical aspects of the business in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)
• Build sales in the targeted species markets and territory
• Develop and recommend business and marketing plans
• Organise and manage relationships with key farming entities, veterinary groups, influencers, consultants and end users.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (“DVM”) is a must
• Demonstrated technical ability within animal health and nutrition
• Strong understanding of the livestock Nutritional and Biological sectors as well as medicated feed ingredients. Experience with veterinary drugs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer interface skills
• Demonstrated experience in developing and meeting budgets
• The ability to combine both technical and sales functions

Remuneration and Location
A highly attractive remuneration package, including salary, superannuation, a car, and a bonus, will be negotiated to attract the right person for this role. The role must be located in Australia.
