Jak Consultancy is proud to partner with a fast-growing design and build company in Dubai to appoint an experienced Building Services Project Manager. This is a key role supporting the successful delivery of high-quality workplace projects across the region, working closely with estimating, design, commercial, and operational teams.
Our client is seeking a technically strong and commercially aware building services professional who can support both preconstruction activities and onsite execution, bringing a solutions-focused and collaborative mindset.
Role Overview The Building Services Project Manager will contribute across the full project lifecycle—from work winning and design coordination to procurement and onsite delivery. This includes technical reviews, supply chain evaluations, client liaison, and programme support.
Key ResponsibilitiesPreconstruction & Estimating Support - Review tender drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Prepare and manage RFIs to clarify scope and enable accurate pricing.
- Evaluate supply chain submissions, compliance reports, and technical proposals.
- Support the estimating team with scope reviews, coordination, and assessments.
Work Winning Activities - Provide technical input into bid submissions, tender strategies, and buildability reviews.
- Attend client-facing meetings when required to support work-winning efforts.
Design & Technical Coordination - Support the design and preconstruction period, liaising with internal designers, consultants, and MEP subcontractors.
- Review drawings to ensure feasibility, compliance, and alignment with project requirements and local codes.
Commercial Support - Assist with supply chain selection, tender reviews, negotiations, and appointments.
- Support monthly applications for payment for both client billing and subcontractor claims.
- Participate in pre-start and scope clarification meetings.
Operational & Site Support - Work with the operational team to monitor MEP installation progress.
- Carry out site inspections and lead weekly coordination meetings with the supply chain.
- Liaise with client teams to resolve technical issues and secure necessary approvals.
- Coordinate landlord connections and authority requirements (NOCs, approvals, etc.).
Programme & Value Management - Add value to tender and live project programmes through improved sequencing and risk mitigation.
- Provide accurate progress reports and updates to internal stakeholders.
Candidate Profile - Minimum 5 years’ experience in Building Services / MEP within commercial fit-out or design & build environments.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
- UAE experience preferred but exceptional international candidates will be considered.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with confidence in client-facing environments.
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-oriented.
