Quantity Surveyor,
Salary: £60 to £80k (depending on experience),
Location: West Midlands.
 
A leading groundworks and civil engineering company are looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering and groundworks experience. This company has a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects, technical innovation, providing a superb working environment and looking after their employees.   As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be joining an established and well organised Commercial team where you’ll be supported and provided with opportunities to develop your skills and further your career.  


What you’ll be doing:

• Manage all commercial aspects of civil engineering and groundworks projects, from tender to final account
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for groundworks, drainage, and earthworks
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers
• Monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency
• Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting

 
About you:

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks and civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of contracts and cost management
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Industry recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Knowledge and experience in relevant software
