Regional Manager East - Health and Personal Injury
Join our Health & Personal Injury (HaPI) team as a Regional Manager and lead a high-performing team committed to delivering trusted, expert trustee services to vulnerable clients across New South Wales. In this key leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving strategic direction, and ensuring the highest standards of client care, aligned with Equity Trustees’ fiduciary obligations.
You’ll play a key role in developing a skilled, engaged team while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. With a focus on empathy, professionalism, and practical solutions, you'll navigate complex legal and administrative frameworks to support meaningful outcomes for those who need it most.
About the Role
- Lead, inspire, and support a team of professionals delivering trustee and financial management services to individuals under enduring power of attorney, court or tribunal appointments, and personal injury settlements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, legal guardians, government agencies, and medical professionals
- Oversee service delivery to ensure compliance with legislative and internal standards
- Represent Equity Trustees in client meetings, audits, and external reviews
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client experience and service outcomes
- Contribute strategically to the growth of the Health & Personal Injury portfolio in NSW
What You'll Need to Succeed - Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Experience in Financial Services
- Diploma of Financial Planning (desirable)
- Strong understanding of compliance and relevant legislation
- Understanding of financial investments and related concepts
- Knowledge of Trust Administration and fiduciary obligations (desirable)
- A deep commitment to client service with the ability to demonstrate empathy, resilience, and professionalism
- Experience in managing complex client matters, including compensation trusts, health-related financial management, or enduring power of attorney arrangements (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and leading meetings
- A continuous improvement mindset and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
