Interim CFO (Mat leave cover)

Our client is a TSX-listed media and entertainment company, and we're seeking an experienced CFO to cover a 12-month maternity leave.  In this role, you will oversee financial strategy, compliance, and operations. This role requires close collaboration with the executive team and Board of Directors to drive financial integrity and growth.

�� Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with TSX listing requirements, IFRS, and regulatory standards.
• Manage investor relations, capital management, and treasury functions.
• Oversee risk management, corporate governance, and internal controls.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives.
• Manage accounting, HR, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury functions.
• Supervise financial operations of subsidiaries and foreign entities.

• CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation.
• 10+ years of senior financial leadership, preferably in a TSX-listed company.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate finance, and compliance.
• Proven track record in investor relations and capital markets.
• Experience collaborating with Boards and executive teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
