Director of Finance
 
Our client is a rapidly growing Medical and San-Jan supply and distribution company, and we're seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy and operations in a distribution-oriented environment.

This role is pivotal in steering financial management, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture within the finance team. The Director will work closely with Operations to ensure alignment on cost reduction and effective budget management.

Location: Toronto (North York / Concord area)
Work Model: In-office

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance team, emphasizing staff development and continuous improvement
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Implement and manage control systems to monitor assets and optimize cost-efficiency
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives and perform business analysis to support new market and service expansion
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for ongoing performance insights

• Past experience in a manufacturing or distribution role is a major requirement for this role.
• Minimum 5 years in financial management, with leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution sectors
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial principles, Ontario regulations, and ERP systems
• Effective communicator with proven problem-solving skills and a commitment to team mentoring and growth
