Location: 45 Marine Parade, Napier South, Napier 4110
Employment Type: Full-time permanent position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, rotating roster, including weekends.
Wage Rate: $26.50 - $27.50 per hour

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of teams in the Food & Beverage department, including making sure team members understand their allocated tasks.
• Providing supervision, training and guidance to Food & Beverage Attendants.
• Greeting and seating guests. Taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Taking a proactive approach to sanitising and cleaning the restaurant.
• Collecting payments for sales and operating the point of sale system and cash register.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain service flow and resolve any operational issues.
• Assisting with any additional duties requested by the Food & Beverage Manager, or Hotel Manager.

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• 2 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
• An LCQ qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
• Customer service superstar!
• Positive can-do-attitude.
• Flexible in availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
