Relationships Australia NSW (RANSW) is offering a unique opportunity to join our newly launched Couple and Family Counselling Learning Pathway - a structured, supported 12-month program designed to grow your expertise and confidence in working with couples and families.
We’re building a specialised workforce, and we want passionate, capable professionals who are ready to grow with us.
You will commence as an individual counsellor, providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals across a wide range of issues, including mental health, trauma, addiction, domestic and family violence, parenting challenges, and life transitions.
After successful completion of the learning pathway into couple and family therapy, you will expand your scope to provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. You'll use a Family Systems framework and have access to leading tools, resources, and supervision to support your clinical practice.
What the Learning Pathway Offers - A bespoke 12-month development journey into couple and family counselling

What you'll bring - Experience in individual counselling, with a desire to grow into couple/family work
- Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology or social work
- Postgraduate training or short courses in counselling or family therapy (desirable)
- Strong understanding of issues like domestic violence, child protection, addiction, and mental health
- Eligibility for PACFA, ACA (Level 3 or 4), AASW, or Psychologist registration
- A calm, compassionate, and professional approach with clients
The details - Permanent role
- 3 days per week based in Gosford
