About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Client Services, you’ll lead and motivate a dedicated team of professionals across the Macquarie Park and Dee Why Centres in the key service areas of Counselling and Family Relationship Services. You’ll provide strategic leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery, strong community partnerships, a positive workplace culture, and effective management of staff, safety, compliance, and budgets.

What you'll do:

• Service Delivery: Drive operational excellence through data-informed decision-making, effective budget and resource management and oversight of customer experience and risk management
• Drive Excellence: Oversee service delivery to ensure the highest standards through strategic leadership, planning, performance management, and governance
• Operational Leadership: Lead and support teams to deliver high-quality services and positive outcomes for clients
• Community Engagement: Expand our impact by building relationships with local communities, service providers, and advocacy groups to support program growth and referrals
• Champion Workplace Culture: Uphold and embody the organisation’s values, fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace culture that supports staff development and wellbeing

The details

• Full-time, 12-month contract
• Based across Macquarie Park and Dee Why
• Approx. $127,000–$130,000 base salary (depending on skills and experience) plus 12% super, 17.5% leave loading, and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take-home pay! Calculate your savings here: https://www.salary.com.au/calculate-your-savings)

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Social Sciences or equivalent
• Demonstrated leadership experience in community services or a similar people-focused environment
• Experience in a role focused on service delivery management, leadership, and customer experience
• Ability to build effective relationships with community partners and key stakeholders
• Experience in managing budgets, compliance, workplace safety, and operational performance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally safe practices
