A global aviation services company providing a range of ground-handling and support services in the Auckland Airport Precinct is seeking outgoing, charismatic, and well-presented individuals to join their Passenger Services team as Ambassadors. Front of House.
As an Ambassador you will facilitate a smooth airport experience for passengers and assisting in the efficient processing of passengers through the airport from arrival to departure.
You need to be flexible with working hours, have a hard work ethic and a passion for delivering a fantastic customer service experience. You will also need to be physically fit as you will often be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Main accountabilities include:
Passenger Services
Assisting special needs passengers and groups throughout the airport
Provide assistance at check in with queue management, excess luggage monitoring, and assist with removal of fragile items for collection.
Assist at gates to ensure an efficient boarding process, pre-boarding passengers, and locating missing passengers etc
Safety, Security and Compliance
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons
Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
Ensure security of passenger's property
Adhere to Airport rules and regulations.
Job Requirements:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Flexible and available for shift work which includes early starts, late finishes, weekend, and public holiday work.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work on a team.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures. (Ideal)
Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
Efficient, Reliable, and well presented.
Must have full driving license and own transport
Must pass pre-employment checks (Ministry of Justice, Drug, Medical and reference)
