The Wilner Group has partnered with a well-established New Jersey family law firm dedicated to helping clients navigate complex life changes with strength, strategy, and care. We are seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their Hackensack, NJ office on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Family Law related documents including pleadings and correspondence.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients by analyzing their needs and determining the proper course of action.
• Represent clients in court.
• Must be prepared to step in and handle pieces of existing family law cases; as well as handle new cases as part of a team, from initial consultation to trial.
• Experience in managing your own caseload with staff and management support.
• Experience making court appearances regularly.
• Significant experience drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, and taking and defending depositions.
• Strong communication skills.

  
 
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of substantive family law experience, including complex divorce, custody, support, and asset distribution matters.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar (NJ Bar admission required).
• Demonstrated courtroom experience, including motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft pleadings, negotiate effectively, and advocate strategically.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and case management skills with the ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and client-centered service mindset.
