Electrical Engineer

We've got a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work on a high end property in Canary Wharf, you will be part of a long standing commercial maintenance company, receive a generous package (Including pension scheme of up to 15%, private health/dental care, childcare provided and more!) The working schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm, this is a great role if you're looking for a change in working hours.

In the role for Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, actively trouble shoot / fault find on all systems on site, carry out general maintenance tasks, update site logbooks and ensure you're representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

To be successful in this Electrical Engineer role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent), great knowledge of commercial plant room systems, at least 3 years experience as an Electrical engineer within building services and a client facing attitude.

Electrical Engineer Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Electrical Engineering (City and guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent + regulations qualifications)
• At least 3 years experience as an electrical engineer in commercial environments 
• Client facing attitude 
• Live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf 
• Apprentice trained - Desirable 

Salary and Package:

• £46,000 per annum
