We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in Kensington. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, offering a stable, static position with excellent opportunities for further training and career progression.

The role follows a Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm schedule, giving you a great work-life balance without the need for shift work.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and electrical building services systems. You'll be expected to fault-find, troubleshoot, complete remedial works, maintain accurate site records and ensure all building services are operating efficiently.

Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial properties.
• Diagnosing, fault-finding and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Completing inspections, testing and compliance checks.
• Carrying out emergency lighting testing and remedial works.
• Maintaining and servicing motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs and three-phase systems.
• Completing general building services maintenance and repairs.
• Updating site logbooks, maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Liaising with subcontractors, clients and colleagues to ensure smooth site operations.
• Providing a high standard of customer service and ensuring all works are completed safely.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Fully qualified in either electrical installations or a mechanical engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years' experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Good all-round mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Apprentice-trained background desirable.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Salary and Package:

• £48,000 - £50,000 per annum.
• Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
