Delta is your smart thinking infrastructure specialist. We construct, manage and maintain essential energy and environmental infrastructure. Every day we make a difference in the lives of New Zealanders. We make communities better for people to live, work and play in - keeping the lights on, the trees trimmed and the parks green.
Queenstown offers an unbeatable mix of mountain lifestyle, vibrant hospitality, and year-round adventure. With world-class skiing, trails, and lakes on your doorstep, it’s easy to balance hard work with a great life. You’ll be joining a supportive local team in a region that values community, safety, and doing things well.
As a Senior Line Mechanic in our Power and Communication Services team, you’ll deliver high-quality construction and maintenance across overhead distribution networks. You’ll lead by example on site, mentoring teammates and supporting apprentices to build capability. You’ll ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard, and you’ll be confident stepping into fault response and HV switching activities. The role also includes participation in an after-hours roster.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a safety-first line mechanic who takes pride in workmanship and enjoys sharing your knowledge. You’re someone others look to for calm guidance on the job, and you’re committed to helping apprentices and newer team members grow their skills. If you’re ready to bring your experience to a high-performing crew in an incredible location, we’d love to hear from you.
