About the role:

The Metering Coordinator for the Current Transformer (CT) Metering Workstream plays a key role in supporting and administering Delta’s metering operations. This position is responsible for coordinating essential administrative and customer-facing activities to ensure CT metering jobs are delivered efficiently and accurately.

The role includes compiling MIC reports for review and sign-off by the ATH/MEP Manager or other approved Key Technical Personnel, liaising with customers to arrange appointments and onsite access for Delta’s metering electricians, and assisting with pricing and invoicing during the close-out of CT metering jobs.

In addition, the Metering Coordinator will collate, maintain, and update Delta ATH training manuals, while also providing support to CSR teams and stepping in as required to cover planned or unplanned absences.

What you need to succeed

• NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Current Class 1 Driver’s Licence
• 3–5+ years’ administration experience, ideally within the electricity industry
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• High level of attention to detail with strong problem‑solving ability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, highly organised, and committed to service excellence

Desirable:

• Experience working with statistics, uncertainties, and error percentages
• Experience creating CT metering certification (MIC) reports in accordance with Part 10 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code
• Knowledge of Part 10 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code and relevant Codes of Practice
• Experience working within quality systems, such as ISO 9001

• This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week.
