About the role:

The Metering Coordinator for the Current Transformer (CT) Metering Workstream will play a crucial role in managing and administering key aspects of Delta's metering operations. This position will involve coordinating various activities related to the completion of Delta’s Metering Equipment Provider (DELT MEP) inspections, maintaining accurate certification records, and supporting statistical sampling recertification projects.

What you need to succeed

• NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Current Class 1 Driver’s Licence
• 3–5+ years’ administration experience, ideally within the electricity industry
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• High level of attention to detail with strong problem‑solving ability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, highly organised, and committed to service excellence

Desirable:

• Experience working with statistics, uncertainties, and error percentages
• Experience creating CT metering certification (MIC) reports in accordance with Part 10 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code
• Knowledge of Part 10 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code and relevant Codes of Practice
• Experience working within quality systems, such as ISO 9001

• This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week.
• This role is based in Dunedin, South Island, New Zealand
