ABOUT THE ROLE
A unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Business Partner to support Lotte Duty Free’s corporate and retail operations in Australia. As People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the business through high-quality, generalist human resources (HR) services across the full employee lifecycle. Partnering closely with leaders and key stakeholders, you will provide trusted advice across employee relations, performance management, policy, compliance and people initiatives, while actively contributing to a positive and compliant workplace culture.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational HR delivery with continuous improvement and people-focused projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide timely and practical employee and industrial relations advice, including managing complex ER matters
- Provide leadership, coaching and day-to-day direction to a direct report (HR Administrator), ensuring high-quality HR service delivery and development.
- Coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary processes and award interpretation
- Deliver and continuously improve onboarding and induction programs
- Manage cyclical HR processes such as performance reviews, salary reviews, restructures and casual conversions
- Support the development, review and communication of HR policies and programs
- Support WHS initiatives, incidents, workers compensation and return-to-work programs
ABOUT YOU - Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline
- Demonstrated Human Resources experience, preferably in a fast-paced, retail or FMCG environment
- Proven ability to manage complex P&C ER cases
- Proven ability to manage OHS cases
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships at all levels
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
