ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Based at Brisbane International Airport, reporting to the Compliance & Loss Prevention Manager, this is a critical role responsible for protecting company assets and ensuring compliance across all Duty Free operations.
You will work at the frontline of compliance and security, partnering with internal teams and external authorities to uphold regulatory standards, minimise risk, and support a safe and secure retail environment within a 24-hour airport setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Partner with Australian Border Force (ABF), Airport Management, and Aviation Security to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation
- Conduct regular audits of policies, procedures, and operational practices
- Perform site inspections to ensure security systems are maintained and fully operational
- Conduct and support internal investigations into incidents and discrepancies
- Monitor and investigate stock discrepancies
- Conduct operational audits to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Analyse data and produce detailed compliance and audit reports
ABOUT YOU - Experience in compliance, loss prevention, risk management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments and risk management practices
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing investigations and resolving operational issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in retail or airport environments
