About the Market:
The community sector in general, but most keenly in the aged care and disability sectors, is currently experiencing a generational impact from technology implementation. Primarily driven by government reporting and compliance requirements but also by the need to operate as efficiently as possible, community sector organisations are currently in the process of spending billions of dollars on technology upgrades. Nightingale’s software product is positioned at the forefront of this wave of IT expenditure.
About the Role:
The Business Development Manager role is primarily responsible for driving leads and profitable new business revenue:
- Drive our recurring revenue from Nightingale subscriptions
- Driving and lifting conversion on good quality (margin and scope) non-recurring revenue including implementations, training services, development services and consulting services.
Key elements of the role include:
- Market Analysis to identify market knowledge, trends, opportunities, competitor products and potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management with a strong capability and track record in outbound activity in connecting to relevant agencies, customers, consulting firms and industry influencers.
- New Business Development from identification of targets through to sales presentation and software demonstrations, proposal delivery and sale closure:
- Product Knowledge acquisition and maintenance with the ability to articulate the unique selling points and competitive advantages of Nightingale.
- Team Collaboration across the marketing, sales, software & product development and delivery teams
- Reporting and Analysis including forecasting, sales activities, progress toward targets, and market insights – particularly keeping your CRM data up to date, timely and accurate.
Job Requirements: Essential:
- Solid track record of B2B sales experience selling preferably in the community service sector
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
- Boardroom level oral and written communication skills
- Keen listening and critical thinking ability
- Be customer focused, with exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Have strong analytical skills and provide sound recommendations to address any arising issues
Desirable:
- Solid understanding of Enterprise level CRM/ERP software, ideally in the Community Sector
