About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operational Performance, The Manager Finance and Operational Performance will be responsible for the preparation and examination of the organisation’s financial records and provide high-level accounting and financial management services. These will include the preparation of statutory accounts, review and processing of transactions and reconciliations, research and analysis of data, and the preparation of information to meet taxation requirements. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, legal requirements and financial reporting standards while monitoring transactions recorded in the accounting system. Finally you lead a small finance team and provide technical accounting assistance and advice to team members.

Key Skills and Attributes
Essential:

• Understanding and demonstrated experience in supporting the budgeting, reporting and associated financial functions
• Strong background and experience ensuring financial statutory compliance
• A high level of financial and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present and manage stakeholder relationships with demonstrated experience, time management and organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team
