APS6 Data Analysts - Federal Government Department 

• $65 -$73 an hour + Super
• Government Department role, long term contract
• Flexible work or work from home permitted

ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source multiple experienced Data Analysts for initially a 12-month contract at an APS6 Level.
 
Duties:

• Apply statistical analysis, exploratory techniques to identify trends, anomalies and drivers
• Develop reusable code notebooks and repeatable analysis frameworks
• Design, document and implement ETL/ELT rules and mappings
• Build efficient data pipelines and SQL queries to prepare analysis-ready datasets
• Build clear, user-focused dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI/Tableau) with strong data storytelling, measures and documentation
• Identify, document and validate internal and external datasets. Assess data quality and propose remediation where needed.
• Support data stewardship, metadata, lineage documentation and access controls
• Plan and execute test cases for datasets, transformations, metrics and reports 

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience with advanced SQL and data manipulation across relational data stores, visualisation skills with tools such as Power BI or Tableau, ability to define measures, DAX/calculations and build accessible, well documented dashboards. Stakeholder management experience, including eliciting requirements, prioritising work and managing expectations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency
• As this role is within a Federal Government department it is a required to be an Australian Citizen at time of commencement
