As a Risk Assurance and Consulting (‘RAC’) consultant you will be part of a team that offers consulting, risk assurance, process and controls transformation advisory , and third party assurance services, delivering services and assurance to the Board, the Audit Committee as well as adding value to the entire organisation.
You will be responsible for leading and executing consulting projects, risk assurance, process and controls transformation, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
We are looking for a high performing professional with 1-2 years of experience from a professional services background. Having a strong background in understanding all the major areas of risk management and/or delivering consulting and audit services and relevant experience working in assurance, risk or control roles and deploying technology enabled assurance in NZ is beneficial.

Role Requirements
- Working towards a professional qualification from, CAANZ, CIMA, CIIA or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years in Risk Assurance or Assurance in the NZ Professional Services industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including report writing skills
- Effective time management skills, completing assignments within time budgets and to schedule while handling multiple tasks
- Demonstrate clear ownership and accountability, and the ability to deliver risk assurance and consulting engagements both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in using flow charting/data analytics software is desired
- Flexibility to travel on a regular basis locally with potential for wider travel including occasional international assignment
