Recruitment Manager – Trades & Labour | Temp Desk | Perth
Join Hays as a Recruitment Manager within our established Perth Trades & Labour team, leading delivery across temporary blue‑collar recruitment throughout Western Australia.
You’ll take ownership of the Construction Trades desk as well as leading and developing a team of seven consultants across the Trades & Labour sector, with clear plans for continued growth as the market expands.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on, people‑first leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a proven ability to lift performance through strong coaching and leadership.

Your new role
As Recruitment Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of seven consultants within the trades & labour sector
- Balance people leadership with your own high-performing recruitment desk
- Strengthen client partnerships through on-site engagement and trusted delivery
- Champion the customer by delivering safe, reliable and high-quality recruitment solutions
- Drive team productivity, engagement and growth in a delivery-led environment
- Develop future leaders through coaching, performance management and capability building
What you’ll need to succeed You know you’ve got what it takes because you are:
- An experienced agency recruiter with proven team leadership experience
- Strongly grounded in blue-collar trades & labour, logistics, manufacturing or aligned recruitment sectors
- Commercial, outcomes-focused and confident leading a larger, established team
- Bold, curious and motivated by developing others
- A relationship builder who earns trust with clients, candidates and internal stakeholders
- Energised by high performance and collaboration
