Advance Thinking is seeking to engage a highly experienced Cutover Manager who has a proven penchant for detail. The appointment is aligned to a contract assignment where you will be working with our client who is an Industry leader within the Health Insurance sector.
 
This role is ideal for a person who has experience in delivering tech projects end to end and has been hands on as a release manager on production rollouts of complex solutions. This is a high visibility program of work that requires your communication and stakeholder management skills to be on point.

What You'll Be Doing
As the Cutover Manager, you will drive technical leadership and provide hands on practical expertise across the rollout of this program within the Home Health Platform.
 
Pre-requisite Activities

Planning the cutover execution including working with the teams to get the sign offs

• Build Runsheet’s – execution and rollback plans
• Dependency & risk assessment
• Coordination of tasks and resource engagement
• Managing dress rehearsals
• Adjusting the Runsheet’s post dress rehearsal [as required]
• Scheduling and hosting walkthroughs for review & go/no go sign offs  

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Build a robust collaboration and communication plan which includes;

• Collaboration matrix to identify stakeholders
• Communication approach for team involved in the rollout
• Communication approach for business sponsors and interested parties
• Communication approach for the executive level audience

Manage and execute the plan which will also include;

• Scheduling tasks
• Scheduling resources
• Tracking activities
• Decision Register
• Risks and Issues register, along with mitigation management
• Reporting on progress
• Escalating as required

Rollout Execution

Lead the execution of the rollout activities which includes;

• Hosting the Go/No Go check points
• Coordinate the execution of the step-by-step instructions as per the Runsheet.
• Working with the roll out team to troubleshoot any issues.
• Coordinate with the assigned team to conduct PVT [Post Verification Testing]
• Communicate throughout the event as per the communication plan.

Rollout Post Execution

Lead the post execution activities which includes but is not limited to;

• PIR: Post Implementation Review
• Develop a Continuous Improvement strategy around any lessons learnt
• Communicate the results and seek endorsement for recommended changes
• Integrate any approved best practice uplifts, while fostering a culture of ownership around the value of continuous learning and improvement
