About the Role:
SCEE is currently seeking a reliable and proactive leading hand electrician to support our electrical team in a hands-on and supportive role.
This role is ideal for someone with relevant experience in a similar environment, who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
What you will be doing:
⚒️ Scope of works include replacement of LV switchgear, including MCC, DBs, PLCs and VSDs, in fixed plant substation and on a balance machine
✅ Assisting the supervisor with the setting up and review of planned daily tasks, including organising your team, equipment and tools to carry out tasks as requested
✅ Monitor on-the-job work tasks and assist the team to resolve any associated issues
✅ Ensure on-the-job safety procedures and associated requirements are adhered to

✈️ Location: Tom Price, WA
✈️ Start Date: 13 January 2026
✈️ Roster: [8 days on / 6 days off]
✈️ Hours: [12 per shift / day]
✈️ Travel: FIFO from Perth to Site Direct
What you need:
- Demonstrated experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial electrical projects
- Strong awareness of safety procedures, effective communicator, and a team player.
- Comfortable working in a physically active environment with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
- Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- CPR/LVR certificate (issued within the last 12 months)
- Safe Work at Heights
- Construction White Card
- Hold Australian Working rights
- CPR/LVR certificate (issued within the last 12 months)
- High Risk Work Licence
- RTIO Worker Inductions desirable
- RIO / BHP Training provided, if required
