CircuIT Recruitment is partnering with a Wellington-based FinTech.

We're looking for an Intermediate Developer to join a tight-knit product team building and improving the their web application.
 
This isn't a "ticket factory" role. You'll collaborate with Designers, BAs and Developers to ship meaningful features, improve performance, and contribute to a product enjoyed by a large number of Users.

What You'll Bring

• Solid JavaScript fundamentals (performance awareness matters)
• React + TypeScript experience
• Git workflow familiarity
• Experience with Jest and React Testing Library
• Understanding of UI performance, accessibility and responsive design
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset

Bonus if you've worked with data-heavy applications, legacy codebases or in FinTech
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Build clean, testable, maintainable code
• Deliver new features end-to-end
• Participate in peer reviews and technical discussions
• Identify improvements and reduce technical friction
• Debug issues and strengthen application performance
• Maintain packages and support security best practice
