The Opportunity
Working alongside the Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of the leadership team, supporting the daily operations of the service while guiding educational practice and mentoring an established team of educators.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead engaging and innovative programs inspired by children’s interests and voices
- Support and mentor educators to build confidence, capability, and quality practice
- Drive programming and reflective practice in your role as Educational Leader
- Help create a calm, positive, and inclusive environment where children feel safe and connected
- Support compliance, documentation, rostering, and day-to-day service operations
- Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community
- Contribute to continuous improvement and help shape the future direction of the service
About You You are someone who:
- Brings experience working within the Education and Care Sector
- Has leadership experience or is ready to confidently step into a leadership role
- Understands the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
- Is passionate about mentoring educators and building strong team culture
- Can balance operational responsibilities with creativity and educational leadership
- Is organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Values connection, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes for children
Essential Requirements - ACECQA Approved Qualification
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or wiling to obtain)
