With the support of an Assistant Coordinator and experienced Portfolio Manager, you’ll have the backing you need to focus on leadership, quality, and team culture—not just getting through the day.
About the Role
As Coordinator, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the service and create a team environment that feels supportive, consistent, and positive.
You will:
- Lead, mentor, and support your team to deliver high-quality care
- Create engaging, play-based programs children genuinely enjoy
- Build strong, authentic relationships with children, families, and the school community
- Ensure the service runs smoothly and meets all compliance requirements
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child
- Represent and promote the service within the community
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
