We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Builder (BP) with a Carpentry background to join a respected and well-established commercial property maintenance provider. This role is perfect for an experienced tradesperson passionate about delivering quality solutions in commercial maintenance, defect rectification, and remedial works.

You will oversee, manage, and actively participate in the maintenance and structural repair of various commercial properties, including motels, caravan parks, mine-site villages, factories, stadiums, and sports facilities. The position combines hands-on carpentry skills with project management responsibilities, offering variety and the satisfaction of solving complex building challenges.

Key Duties:

• Lead and supervise teams across multiple maintenance and remediation projects
• Conduct carpentry and building maintenance tasks such as structural repairs, roof and ceiling repairs, waterproofing, and general maintenance
• Identify and rectify building defects, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and building codes
• Prepare estimates, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ)
• Complete safety documentation (JSA/SWMS, QA reports)
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety standards

• Registered Builder (BP) Licence (essential)
• Trade-qualified Carpenter
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance or remedial construction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project; Prime preferred)
• White Card, Working at Heights, EWP over 11m, First Aid certifications
• Police Check & Working with Children Check (mandatory)
• Valid driver's licence
