We’re recruiting a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Landscape Construction Apprentice to join a crew working on major commercial landscaping builds (including large-scale sites like schools and retirement villages). You’ll learn on the job, earn an income, and build skills that set you up for a long-term career.

About the Role
You’ll work across various sites in the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney areas, alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive, well-structured environment.
- Start: ASAP
- Roster: Full-time (38 hours/week) + overtime available
- Typical hours: 7:00am–3:30pm (unpaid break around midday)
Key Responsibilities (hands-on)
- Continue development toward completing your apprenticeship and trade qualification
- Assist with:
- Formwork + site prep
- Planting trees/shrubs + garden beds
- Laying turf/lawn
- Deck builds
- Irrigation installs
- Support qualified tradespeople and learn best-practice methods
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area (site housekeeping)
- Follow WHS policies and procedures at all times
About You
- Currently a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice in Landscape Construction
- Keen to build a long-term career in the industry (with real progression opportunities)
- Reliable, punctual, willing to learn, and a solid team player
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions and doing physical work (including heavy lifting)
- Happy in a fast-paced, professional work environment
Requirements
- Driver’s licence + own vehicle (travel to worksites)
- White Card
- Working With Children Check (WCC) may be required (especially for school sites)
- Criminal history check
- Willingness to do overtime when required
