As a Management Accountant, your role and responsibilities will include…
- Preparing monthly management accounts, profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Presenting monthly financial performance and insights to Directors
- Preparation of annual accounts to submit to the Finance Director and General Manager
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, complete quarterly VAT returns
- Analyse the company’s financial performance (budgets and forecasts)
- Reviewing finance processes and controls and ensuring consistent documentation
We’re looking for a Management Accountant with the following skills and experience… - Experience as a Management Accountant
- AAT qualification is essential, CIMA/ACCA would be advantageous
- Strong experience using Sage, ERP or similar accountancy systems
- VAT and PAYE experience is essential, and CIS/Intrastat would be beneficial
- Great knowledge of Excel with excellent bookkeeping skills
- A positive, proactive, trustworthy person with a high attention to detail
In return, the successful Management Accountant will receive a salary between £45,000 to £50,000 (pro rata 20-30 hours), with the following benefits… - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (Pro rata)
