As a Deputy Nursery Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring Tapestry to ensure children meet their developmental goals
• Assisting the manager with the running of the nursery & completing weekly rotas
• Ensuring safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Supporting the team to deliver excellence, including supervision and training plans
• Room based role with some office-based duties

We’re looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager with the following skills and experience:

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years or degree/equivalent & previous experience in a similar role
• Management experience and can manage a room as well as being deputy
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS & valid DBS (update service) or willing to complete one
• Someone who’s been acting deputy for 6 months to a year would be considered
• Positive, empathetic, confident, smart, motivated, kind and compassionate attitude
• The ability to lead and inspire practitioners and be a true team member
