Construction and Technical Recruitment is assisting a local a residential business.  They have a great forward work flow and are expanding the Auckland team.

CTR are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager with strong technical building knowledge who is ready for their next challenge. This office-based role focuses on the pre-construction phase, which covers inception up to construction. It’s about getting the detail right up front and setting up our construction teams and projects for success.

You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and you will be responsible for managing the Pre-construction phase of all projects. 

• Leading the tender process from project bid invitation through to tender submission.
• Managing project design and specification including managing and liaising with relevant external consultants, such as architects and engineers.
• NZS3910 or NZS3916 contract review.
• Ensuring the delivery of Resource and Building Consents.
• Resolving any design issues that may come to fruition during the project life cycle.
• Maintaining client and stakeholder relationships

To be able to succeed in this role and make things happen. We are looking for :

• Strong technical building knowledge (NZS3604)
• Experience managing NZS3910 or NZS3916 contracts
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Experience with MS Office
